The Centre for Social Services Engineering is the first of its kind to
broaden the scope of engineering research to the social services sector. 
 
Our mission it to make social services more effective and efficient by delivering the right services to the right people at the right time.

In addition to our long-term research projects,many new and emerging interdisciplinary projects are underway at the Centre. These projects bring together the faculties and students from the University's Departments of  Industrial and Systems Engineering, Operations Research, the Department of Psychiatry and the School of Social Work.
